Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 April 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of FamlyBoard (famlyboard.app), operated by FamlyBoard BV, Belgium. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. Account Access for Support (Impersonation)

FamlyBoard support staff may access your account (act-as impersonation) to diagnose technical issues. You consent to this at account creation. All impersonation sessions are logged in the audit log. You can review impersonation events at any time in your Audit Log (Admin > Audit Log). Impersonation is only performed by authorised staff to resolve support requests or investigate suspected abuse.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use FamlyBoard for lawful personal, family, or business calendar display purposes. You may not: use the service to display illegal content; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API; share your account credentials with unauthorised parties; use the service to harass, defraud, or harm others. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

3. Subscription and Billing

FamlyBoard offers a paid subscription plan billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. (Netherlands) as merchant of record — Mollie handles EU VAT on your behalf. Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at end of the current billing period. A 7-day free trial is available for new accounts — no credit card required to start. Refunds are handled at our discretion; contact billing@famlyboard.app.

4. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account. Upon deletion, your calendar data is removed within 30 days. Invoice records are retained for 7 years per Belgian tax law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain the right to bring disputes before the consumer protection authority in your country of residence.

6. Changes to These Terms

We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any material change to these Terms. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
